Yes. Cabins on old wood blocks, concrete piers, or deteriorating foundations can be re-levelled on screw piles. We support the structure, install new piles at the correct bearing points, and lower the cabin onto a permanent, warranted foundation. Most cabin levelling projects are completed in a single day.
Can screw piles be installed on a slope near the water?
Yes. Sloped waterfront lots are one of the most common cabin sites we work on. Piles are installed to different depths across the grade so the tops finish at a consistent, level bearing line — giving you a level structure without cutting into or regrading the slope. Do I need a permit for a cabin foundation, and are your piles accepted?
Permit requirements depend on your rural municipality or cottage district, and many new cabins and additions do require one. Our screw piles are CCMC-certified (#13102-R), which means they are evaluated and accepted for use in permitted structures across Canada. We install to an engineered torque target and provide a Pile Load Report you can submit with your permit application.
